Where Everything In My Home Is From

As we approach the end of our time in our flat I’ve been starting to feel nostalgic for a number of reasons. One being that it’s been a forgiving backdrop to my evolving interest in interior design. Let’s just say it’s lucky my decisions haven’t been permanent! Having first lived in the flat with friends in 2015, it was subject to luxury slogan posters and then the trend of millennial pink, gold accents and all things cutesy. Next came my phase of rattan and pampas. I am nothing if not a cliché.

I’d say now that it’s pretty reflective of my current style, save for a few choices made years ago that aren’t justifiable to change. Everything that fits will be coming with us to our new home, although I’ll likely change fabrics and formations. I can’t decide whether to reuse paint shades I know and love or whether to mix things up?

Below you’ll find photos of each room with details of everything pictured - paint colours, furniture, decor and more. I’m even sharing where I had my marble coffee table made, which has sparked many queries over the years. I’ve also included my room in my parents house in Bruton too as it has been saved over 3.5K times on my interiors instagram @theinteriorsedit. I love the modern countryside feel of that room in particular!

I’d like to thank all those of you that support EDITED through your paid subscriptions in the last week. It really means the world!

LIVING ROOM

This was formerly a bedroom and when friends moved out and it was just my husband and I we changed it into a snug, adding the simple panelling and painting the walls. It’s always a favourite with friends and I love how cosy it is, filled to the brim with trinkets I’ve collected over the years. It’s definitely an inviting space.

The best part is that the TV is hidden behind the door so it’s really not a feature. The vinyl wall is almost like a changing art installation, and as music lovers, it’s something we love to chop and change. The sofa is the comfiest in all the world, I swear!
