Seven iPhone Camera Secrets
Tips & tricks for getting the most out of your camera | #PhotoEDITED5
Whilst we probably use our iPhone cameras everyday, we might not know the breadth of their functionality. I’m often learning or sharing tips with creator friends when we’re on trips or at events together.
Hopefully these make your life a little easier and incite at least one gobsmacked reaction! Tips 3 & 5 are probably my fave.
1. BURST MODE
If you want to take a burst, ie. lots of photos in extremely quick succession you can do this easily - lightly hold the shutter (the white circle) and quickly drag it to the left to activate burst mode. You will know you are taking a burst as you’ll see a counter quickly going up showing the number of photos being taken. Release to stop the burst.
If you hold the shutter for too long, you’ll start videoing instead of taking a burst. It can take a couple of tries to nail. You can also hold the volume button (up for burst, down for video).
You can then pick your faves from the burst in your Photos afterwards - they’ll be saved in a group until you decide which you’d like to keep, rather than clogging up your camera roll.
Great for: A moving subject
Downside: Not the best quality
