Bruton: The EDITED Guide
Where to eat, sleep, shop and more in this Somerset bolthole
Today we’re talking Bruton, one of my absolute favourite places, particularly in the sunshine. For those unacquainted, Bruton is a charming little town nestled in the picturesque county of Somerset (in the SW of the UK). Its quaint Georgian-property lined streets house a vibrant food and arts scene, which have made it the perfect city escape, just a couple of hours from London. If you haven’t been then I’d so recommend, if you have, hopefully this is an excuse to go back.
Over the last few of years my parents have split their time between Bruton and where I grew up in Oxford, so I’ve been lucky to visit countless times. No matter how much I go, it’s never enough. There’s truly so much to do, eat and see with frequent new openings to discover. We love that part of the world so much, we ended up getting married nearby so it always brings back happy memories. Visiting is like a deep breath of fresh air, literally and metaphorically.
We just spent some time there over the long weekend, so…
